In terms of placements, there is no difference as such- whether you talk about PESIT or PES, both colleges provide good placements.
The students of both universities get to sit together with each other inside the campus. Jobs depend upon how well you perform with your abilities. The better you put your abilities to use, the higher your chances of getting a job are.

But if we consider education, there is a difference that is to be marked. If I talk about PES, this is a University entirely. On the other hand, PESIT falls under VTU which is the South Campus. Now, faculty-wise, both the colleges share a fine set of faculty that can inspire you in many ways. You can end up learning a lot from them.
PESIT Banashankari has been converted into a private university under the PES University Act established in 2012. The first batch of students to join after this change was put under the affiliation of PES University. Naturally, after four years, they were awarded a degree by PES University.
A few other batches that may have been admitted under VTU affiliation, were continued under the same affiliation till those students graduated. As far as senior batches are concerned, they could migrate to PES University but it requires a lot of paperwork and it takes time. There are chances that the management will not opt for this.
In case you are still unclear about this and CET cell codes cause confusion, you can get in touch with the authorities who will help sort this matter out.
I have a few friends at PEC. And based on the information I got from them, here are some of the facts about the internship program work at the PES University.
In the 8th semester, the internship companies visit the campus for placement drive and offer internships as well as a Full-time placement offer. Overall, the placement is good and if the performance of the student is good, they can land in a good place.
Dayanand Sagar College of Engineering is better in terms of placements, fests, and overall environment. Here are some of the things that you should consider before choosing any of these two institutes.

In conclusion, PESIT south campus is the better option if you are looking for academics. Otherwise, DSCE will be great.
There is no clear winner in this comparison. If you are interested in Mining Engineering and want to learn fundamental and core technicalities, then NIT Surathkal will be better. As an institute, NITK is better than other engineering colleges in Karnataka. It offers better academics, exposure, facilities, and campus life. For Mining, NIT Surtahkal placements are great. Coal India visits NITK for recruiting students. The average CTC received by the students of this bench is INR 5-6 LPA.
But if you aren’t particularly interested in Mining Engineering, then you should choose CSE at PES University. In the current industry landscape, CSE offers better placements with cushy salary packages.
PES University is undoubtedly better than Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Bangalore campus. The most important decision should be whether to take Mechanical engineering or ECE as both are different disciplines and unrelated to each other as well. The choice of your engineering branch should be based on your passion and interest as you would have to study it for 4 years and then do a job in the same field as well.
After that, comes the college. These are some of the parameters on which you can compare the two universities.
Here is a brief overview of the recent placement highlights at the institutes.

However, you should focus on gaining knowledge and that you can do at any university. But some university will help you more than other and that’s what makes PES University better than Amrita University, Bangalore campus.
PES University in Bangalore is considered better than AIMS. One of my friends, being a graduate of AIMS itself, widely states that the institute somewhat lacks the basic amenities.
Knowing students from both the institutes and on the basis of their experience, the placement stats of either institute, course fee structures, it can be determined that PES University is ahead of AIMS.

Though both PES University and NIT Patna don’t have a sufficient reputation in the industry, NIT Patna can be a better choice because of the NIT tag. Having friends study in both the institutes, here are some things they mentioned -

So, these two institutes are not worth considering. There are several options for engineering aspirants in India like IITs, BITS, IIITs, and various other private institutes.
According to the recent cut-off trends for PES University, the cut-off for computer science was 1094. So you can easily get admission in all the other branches, i.e. electronics and communication, electrical and electronics engineering, biotechnology engineering, mechanical engineering, and civil engineering.
Many factors determine the cut-off like the number of students who applied, appeared, and qualified for the exam; seat availability; difficulty level of the exam; and reservation policy.
So it is advisable for you that once you qualify for the exam you should analyze all these aspects to know about your chances to get admission to PES University.
Considering all factors like atmosphere, higher studies, faculty base, placements, internship, etc. PES University is better.
It offers an ideal environment for studies. The much-rumored strictness on campus is stereotyped. There are a few basic rules that you need to follow as a student, but these are manageable.
The campus is an amazing place to be in. There are many student-run societies and clubs in which you can take part.
It offers good placements and internship opportunities. PES University placements highlights of 2022 stats an average CTC of INR 6.5 LPA, and the highest CTC of INR 49.75 LPA.
