I have a few friends from both Thapar University and LNM-IIT Jaipur and based on the reviews I got from them, I will say LNMIIT Jaipur will be a better option. Here are the reasons why.
Hence, LNMIIT is a very good place to pursue CSE, but a college is just a medium and it completely depends on how you can utilize your 4 years in the college. Your success will depend on your hard work and efforts.
LNMIIT
LNMIIT was founded in 2002 which means it is a bit old and has a stronger alumni base.
It is a university and a joint venture of Govt. Of Rajasthan and LNM Foundation.
The total fees for B.Tech Computer Science is around INR 6.5 lakhs.
The overall average salary was around INR 10.43 lakhs while the highest was around INR 36 lakhs per annum for previous years.
Top companies to recruit the students were Amazon, Samsung, OYO, IBM, and many more.
The cut off for the first round for B.Tech CSE lies around 115K.
IIIT Bhubaneswar
IIIT Bhubaneswar was founded a little later in the year 2005.
It is a Government University.
The total fees for B.Tech CS are INR 8.31 lakhs.
The highest package offered was in the range of INR 8-10 lakhs per annum, while the average CTC was around INR 5 lakhs per annum as per the year 2019.
Top companies to visit the campus were Dell, TCS, Infosys, IBM, Mindtree to name a few.
The cut off for first-round for admissions in B.Tech CSE ranges from 7140-15315.
Given the above stated facts, LNMIIT is better for CS. However, the final decision rests upon you.
Among the above two institutes, LNMIIT Jaipur is a better choice, considering several factors like quality of education, placements, etc. I have a few friends from LNMIIT Jaipur, so I think I can give you a fair idea about the academics at LNMIIT.
Following is a table of comparison between the two institutes.

7.8 Lakhs |
Highest Salary Offered |

In both institutes, CSE is the first preferable stream. Other streams are not that good in offering opportunities in internships and placements to students.
Considering the above points, it is clear that LNMIIT Jaipur is definitely the better choice among the two institutes.
NIT Silchar is better for CSE than LNMIIT. The rich and active coding culture adds to the credibility of this institute. Many core companies visit the campus every year with a good salary package. The recent placement statistics at NIT Silchar are given below

Both colleges are identical on most fronts, however, LNMIIT would be a slightly better preference between the two. LNMIIT specializes in B.Tech courses and provides better infrastructure and facilities. At a lower fee, LNMIIT offers much better placements to its students.
LMN Institute of Information & Technology and BIT Mesra are both premiere engineering institutes. The choice between two would lead to a clear cut decision for LNMIIT.
It can be taken on the basis of factors like:
The placements are quite decent as it attracts the top companies across the country offering a good amount of packages. The career development opportunities are in quite a large number leading to a good growth in terms of career graph ahead.
The data can be looked upon as follows:
Maximum Package Offered |
Rs. 63.27 LPA |
Median Package Offered |
Rs. 10 LPA |
Average Package Offered |
Rs. 12.03 LPA |
Recruiting Companies |
Google, Uber, Samsung, HSBC, Amazon, Oyo, Ericson, Times Internet and Cognizant. |
There are qualified faculty members that make education more realistic and research oriented. They provide the best experience in their field, making it even more remarkable.
BIT Mesra has a weaker coding culture in their campus unlike LMN IIT. The Cultural committee, Sports committee and literary club are important elements.
A lot of hardships have been encountered on the part of accommodation in BIT Mesra, making it a deterrent altogether. Infrastructure is a major factor when you choose a college.
LMNIIT on the other hand has provided good residential facilities with full access to important equipment without major administrative situations.
The other important factor to be kept in mind is that BIT Mesra & Ranchi are two different colleges and the notion that Mesra campus is good so Jaipur is also good is clearly not acceptable. A clear point of view stands in favour of LNMIIT in purview of all the mentioned details.
I have friends at both IIIT Guwahati and LNMIIT and based on what I heard from them, I will recommend that you choose LNMIIT. Here are the reasons why.
Being said that you can go to IIIT Guwahati if the course fee is a matter of concern for you. It is better than taking student loans for LNMIIT. IIIT Guwahati is also a viable option.
Both IIIT Kota and NIT Delhi are government colleges and come with a fancy tag of IIIT and NIT. But LNMIIT is better than the above two. Here are the reasons why.
Finally, if you are a learning enthusiast and are keen to explore new things, you won't regret joining this college. My friend was torn between choices a few years back, and after much consideration he chooses LNMIIT. Based on his experience, I can say it was the right decision.
