IBS is known for calling all candidates to Hyderabad for counseling and then informing them that they have been admitted to a different branch of IBS in another location. This does not provide the candidate with the opportunity to go home and make an informed decision based on research.

However, other branches of ICFAI are not highly ranked. In that case, the Jaipuria Institute of Management in Lucknow is a better option. The author personally recommends the Jaipuria Institute of Management due to their overall experience there. It is recommended that you keep SIMSREE and GIM at the top of your list of colleges to consider. Both of these colleges have a strong reputation and are well known for providing quality education in the field of management.

IBS Hyderabad is the better option. 

• IBS is way older than Symbiosis and has an extensive alumni base.
• IBS has a better placement record compared to Symbiosis. In 2021, the highest international and national CTC offered at IBS was INR 50.23 LPA and INR 15.89 LPA, respectively. 
• There’s a lot to MBA besides classroom learning. IBS delivers that experience in an excellent way. The huge student crowd, lots of student clubs and activities will give you a glimpse of what corporate life is like and the ways you can survive as well as excel. 

Although IBS Hyderabad MBA course fee is around INR 16 Lakhs. So, the ROI is lower. 

IBS Hyderabad is better than Symbiosis Hyderabad. IBS is a reputed well-established brand name in the management fraternity. It is a much older college and hance has a huge alumni base. There is a lot more to MBA than classroom learning. IBS provides that experience through club events, group activities, peer learning. 

IBS Hyderabad also has a better placement record. 

Overall, IBS Hyderabad is a better choice. 

You will find that BIMTECH has an advantage in terms of a better batch size, which leads to better quality placements in multiple sectors and provides a better return on investment compared to IBS Hyderabad. Additionally, placements have been improving and the overall experience is also positive.

IBS Hyderabad will be better than IMT Hyderabad. It teaches Harvard cases in the 3rd and 4th semesters. The course work includes more than 1000 case studies. Many of the professors in this institute are internationally acclaimed.

Symbiosis has only good colleges in Pune. SIBM Hyderabad is merely an extension of the franchise, designed to attract students from all over India. If you are interested in attending a Symbiosis college, you should consider SIBM Pune, not SIBM Hyderabad. The same is true for IBS; IBS has many branches, such as IBS Pune and IBS Bangalore, but these are only extensions of the main campus, which is IBS Hyderabad.

It is recommended that you choose a main campus college, rather than an extension of a good college.
