The MBA program at REVA University is one of the best in Bangalore. The curriculum of the MBA course is well-rounded.
Categories | MBA at REVA University |
Course Fee | 3 lakh (1st year) |
Highest CTC | 21 LPA |
Average CTC | 6.08 LPA |

The placements are good and some good companies visit the campus. I recommend REVA University to you if you want to turn your dreams into reality.
MDI EMBA is definitely a good choice if you want to pursue EMBA for
But if you are here just for placement within India, then go for ISB only.
It’s sad to admit that even today Indian Corporates haven’t understood the importance of EMBA as most companies prefer MBA graduates only. They specifically enquire if their MBA program was a 2-year program or a regular MBA.
But ISB’s 1-year executive Management Course along with ISB brand name has been deemed equal in importance by the Indian Corporates to a full-time 2 year MBA. This is despite the fact that many students of the regular MBA program have 3-5 years of experience which is not uncommon even amongst many of the 2-year MBA programme students. EMBA from any other Institute is considered as candidates with a lot of experience which is not true in all the cases.
Before applying for an MBA program at any institution, be it Chetna College, IIM, or JBIMS, it is recommended that you take the following steps:
If I leave my biases towards Kashipur as a city aside. I would choose IIT Roorkee over IIM Kashipur.
Here are some reasons in support of my decision:-
If your current package is less than 15 LPA, pursuing PGPX 1-year full-time program at IIM Ahmedabad is good. You should look at international colleges if your current package exceeds 15 LPA. You should always do your MBA and find a job outside of India. India is simply the world's back office. It is different if you want to be an IAS officer, but Indian corporate is slavery and junk. Working here for an extended period of time will undoubtedly turn you into a lunatic.
One week of college life is enough to demonstrate the quality of American education. The tasks are out of this world. Americans are among the world's smartest and most innovative people. As a last resort, continue your education in India. Even if you have more than 5 years of work experience, IIM A/ISB will only hire you in one of India's back offices.
NIT Calicut placements for MBA are average. You need to have a good academic record to receive decent placement opportunities through campus recruitment. During the last placement drive, MBA students received an average CTC of INR 6 LPA.
Although the placement scenario is improving. Mostly IT firms and banks visit the placement drive.
Some of my friends attended Gauhati University. According to their experience, the university offers a decent MBA program. The degree course is not that competitive, but the course curriculum is up to industry standard.
Gu offers decent hostel accommodation. The campus life is also quite good. According to the recent placement highlights the highest CTC offered was 5 LPA. Some of the major recruiters that visit the campus placement are OIL, CocaCola, etc.
USMS is considered the better one than IITM. It is an on-campus MBA school on the IPU campus and has the best faculty and infrastructure.
All the teachers are well qualified and students get good exposure to activities and corporate interactions essential for an MBA graduate.
The top recruiting industries visiting USMS are Banking, IT, Retail, Marketing firms, Finance Corps, and startups. Companies like Grail, Evalueserve, Tata, etc. used to visit the campus for recruitment.
Particulars | USMS | IITM |
Total fees | 1.52 lakhs | 2.2 lakhs |
Placement percent | 70% | 70-80% |
Highest salary | 12 LPA | 10 LPA |
Average salary | 4 LPA | 3-6 LPA |
It is suggested that you go for USMS, as it will provide you with better industrial exposure, from which you can learn the corporate working style, very early on in your career.
IMT Ghaziabad is called the Mecca for Marketing. It’s well known for its specialization in Marketing, Sales, and Business Development based roles. I don't think it offers similar opportunities for finance as well. The placements are pretty good but getting internship offers is difficult for someone who is switching careers from IT to Finance.
So if you really want to pursue a career in Finance after your MBA from IMT Ghaziabad, you can try CFA, and FRM and have some past background in Finance
According to my friends at Indira Institute of Management, Pune, the placement opportunities for MBA depends on your previous stream, B.Com, CA, Engineering, etc.
The placement opportunities at Indira Institute of Management, Pune are without a doubt pleasing to MBA aspirants.
