LPU allows students with a minimum 80 percentile in the CAT exam for MBA admission. In 2024 the expected cutoff for the CAT exam will be 40-45 percentile for general category students. The expected cutoff in the MAT exam will be 67-70 percentile, the expected cutoff in the CMAT exam will be 70-72 percentile, and the expected cutoff in the CMAT exam will be 90-92 percentile. 

So, you can get admission with a 450 score in the CAT.

LPU offers an MBA program in multiple specializations. Students from all over India and also from different countries come for MBA admission at LPU. LPU's placement for MBA is also very good. 

LPU offers BPharm and MPharm courses. The pharmacy programs of LPU are approved by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI). LPU's pharmacy courses are also accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). NAAC is the parameter to evaluate the quality of higher education institutions by the national accrediting authority.

You need to score at least 150 - 300 marks out of 400 in the LPUNEST exam to qualify for BTech CSE admission at LPU. Candidates must fulfil the eligibility criteria for appearing in the BTech entrance exam. The eligibility criteria for the exam is candidates must pass the 12th class with 60% aggregate marks in Physics, Mathematics, and English subject.

Yes, LPU has NCC. The LPU NCC is known as the NCC, 8th Punjab Battalion which is an Infantry Battalion. LPU focusses a lot on extracurricular activities. NCC is one of the things that you can enroll for. It is a 2 year course and if you have qualified for the NCC exam, you will be called in for an interview. The Division of Student Welfare, Block-13 in the LPU Campus provides all the details regarding the LPU NCC.

LPU regularly hosts training camps for all its NCC cadets and trains more than 500 Senior-Junior Division (SD/JD) & Senior-Junior Wing (SW/JW) NCC cadets from several different schools and colleges.

LPU also hosted a ten-day Annual Training Camp for all the NCC cadets. It started as a community service social initiative and now LPU NCC has adopted 24+ villages and has more than 500 cadets. It is a lovely one in a lifetime experience.

You need to score at least 60% marks in 10+2 board exams with English, Chemistry and Maths or Biology or Biotechnology as subjects in 10+2. If you want a scholarship, you can appear for the LPUNEST exam. 

The tuition fee is INR 7.2 Lakhs. If you want to avail of hostel facilities then you will also have to pay an additional amount of INR 3.3 Lakhs. The course curriculum is at par with the leading universities. You will get to understand the foundation of the subject as well as gather practical knowledge through the various workshops, seminars, conferences and internship opportunities that are provided by LPU. The average package for 2023 was INR 5.5 LPA and the highest package was INR 34.24 LPA. 100% of the students were placed in 2023.

Yes LPU offers a BDes course. You will get multiple options to choose from. There are about 12 specializations that LPU offers under the BDes course. Also, there is a facility for lateral entry in some of the specializations. The total fee is around INR 14 lakhs for the course. Each of the specializations has been designed to meet the growing needs of the industry and help the students to get through knowledge of the domain. You will also get internship opportunities where you will gain practical knowledge. Also, because of LPU’s vast industry connection, you can expect to get placed at top companies.

The whole fee is charged altogether, that is, for the whole academic year and not month-wise. You are eligible to pay a late fee if you are not able to pay the LPU hostel fees on time or you could lose your accommodation as there is always a high demand for the hostel.
