For the summer internship program at IIT Mandi, you need to follow the steps:

1. Firstly, visit the IIT Mandir website for the summer internship announcement (https://www.iitmandi.ac.in/internships.php).
2. Next, submit the application form available on the website
3. Provide all necessary information and documents such as academic transcripts, a resume, and a statement of purpose.
4. Applications are reviewed by the placement department and selected candidates are notified via email.

Admission to IIT Mandi for MTech programs involves the following steps:

1. Candidates must qualify for the GATE Examination.

4. After the above rounds, shortlisted candidates may need to attend an interview or a written test.
5. Then after successful completion of all the above rounds admission is granted based on the performance in GATE, academic performance, and interview/written test.

The IIT Mandi hostel provides separate hostels for boys and girls and facilities like single, double, and triple sharing bedrooms. The IIT Mandi hostel rooms have proper lighting, ventilation, and cupboards. Each hostel is equipped with 24/7 electricity, Wi-Fi, a sports room, and internet facilities. The hostel also has a separate mess with tasty food for vegetarians and non-vegetarians. There are many more facilities like water coolers, geysers, and laundry facilities for everyone. The hostel also provides a library, sports field, medical facility, Gymnasium, and Cafeteria.
