New Delhi: The Tamil Nadu Agricultural University (TNAU) is all set to conduct a spot admission to fill 1,186 vacant seats at its private affiliated colleges on February 2 and 3, 2023. TNAU also conducted spot admission on January 24, 2023.
The university also conducted spot admission on January 24. According to the TNAU official, a total of 1,186 seats are yet to be filled, despite a large number of seats being filled up in the first round of spot admission.
He said that If the seats weren't filled, "another round of TNAU spot admission will be undertaken in a week. Candidates must be physically present to be admitted on the spot. The university stated that applicants who have not yet attended counselling or a certificate verification may still participate.
When seats are confirmed, the SC/ST candidates must pay a counselling cost of INR 1,500, while everyone else must pay INR 3,000. The annual fee will range from INR 40,000 to INR 50,000, he explained.
The community-wise vacancies, information about applicants called for counselling, and the counselling schedule will all be published on the email @tnau.ucanapply.com. Candidates can contact ugadmissions@tnau.ac.in via email or by calling 0422-6611345.
Meanwhile, TNAU has received a total of 2,036 applications for the admissions into diploma courses for the academic year 2022-23. There are a total of three TNAU programmes offered in agriculture, horticulture, and agriculture engineering -- through its private and government-affiliated and constituent colleges.
