Telangana Board to Conduct TS POLYCET 2023 on May 17; Registration Open from January 16

New Delhi: The Telangana Board of Technical Education and Training (SBTET) is all set to conduct the Telangana State Polytechnic Common Entrance Test (TS POLYCET), for the academic year 2023-24, on May 17, 2023. The registration will commence from January 16, 2023.

Earlier, this week, the SBTET board issued a notification inviting online applications for candidates who have passed the SSC Public Examinations or its equivalent earlier to appear for the TS POLYCET 2023 exam. 

TS POLYCET 2023: Important Dates 

All the eligible candidates can check the requisite eligibility criteria and register themselves for the TS POLYCET 2023 entrance exam online from January 16, 2023. The online registration window will close on April 24.

Further, the candidates can submit the applications up till April 25 with a late fee of Rs 100. However, the TS POLYCET 2023 results will be released 10 days after the completion of the test.

The Telangana Board conducts the state-level TS POLYCET for admissions into diploma courses in engineering and non-engineering/ technology courses offered at polytechnic institutions in the state.

The exam will be conducted offline as a pen and paper-based for a duration of 2.5 hours. The question paper will consist of 150 MCQs with a subject wise distribution of marks, with Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, and Biology, each having 30 marks. Candidates need to select 1 correct answer among four options and 1 Mark will be awarded for the correct answer and there's no negative marking. 

 Candidates who qualify the TS POLYCET 2023 exam will get admission into diploma courses offered by PJTSAU, PVNRTVU and SKLTSHU. 

TS POLYCET 2023: How to Apply? 

Step 1: Visit the official TS POLYCET website @https://polycetts.nic.in/

Step 2: On the home page, Click on the link ‘Apply Online’

Step 3: Enter all the details in the application form including personal and academic details.

Step 4: Upload scanned photograph and signature, Check and confirm entries. Make the payment.

Step 5: Take a print out of the application form and fill in the remaining details.
