New Delhi: NIT Warangal has begun the application process for the PhD programme for the academic session of January 2023. Aspiring candidates can submit the online application form through the official portal, @https://www.nitw.ac.in.

NIT Warangal offers PhD Programs, in Full-time (FT) and Part-time (PT) modes, in 13 departments of the Institute. Candidates seeking admission to the PhD programme can submit their applications till December 04, 2022. 

Admission to the PhD programme will be done based on the performance in written test and interview.

NIT Warangal PhD Admission 2023: Dates

Candidates selected for admission into PhD under Full-Time program are eligible to receive institute fellowship as per Ministry of Education, (former MHRD) rules. Category-wise (EWS, OBC, SC, ST, PWD) reservations on overall available seats will be followed as per Government of India norms.

NIT Warangal PhD Admission 2023: Eligibility Criteria

Candidates seeking admission to the PhD programme will have to meet the requisite eligibility criteria. 

• Candidates must have passed first class with 60% aggregate or 6.5 CGPA at both UG and PG for GEN/OBC-NCL/GEN-EWS category and minimum 55% aggregate marks or 6.0 CGPA for candidates under SC/ST/PwD category.
• Candidates are required to have a Master's degree such as M.E. or M.Tech with a minimum of 60% marks or 6.5 CGPA.
• Candidates having B.E. or B.Tech degree needs to have at least 65 % marks or 7.0 CGPA in their graduation.

• Selection to the Ph.D. programs offered are made on the basis of scores in GATE or JRF/ NET exams. 
• A written test and personal interview is also conducted by the institute to give admission to the Ph.D. program.

Step 1: Visit the official application portal of NIT Warangal @https://www.nitw.ac.in.

Step 2: Register yourself after filling the required details, such as Mobile number, Email Id etc.

Step 3: Now, login with your registration credentials and fill all details in the Application form.

Step 4: Pay the application fee and submit the Application form. 

Step 5: Applicants must also take a print out of the form for all future needs.
