Kala Academy: Classes to begin in small groups from August 1

Kala Academy shall be commencing its dance and music class with 3-4 students, maintaining social distancing norms.

Kala Academy is all set to commence with its music and dance classes. This will be done by dividing the students into small groups. Each group would comprise 3-4 candidates.The lessons will be conducted with the consent of the parents and social distancing norms will also be followed.

Kala Academy Minister,Govind Gaude claimed to restart the batch from August 1,2020. Those candidates who have already enrolled for various courses will be called.

The academy is also trying to provide music and dance classes through both online mode and offline mode. There are 30 students in classes but in Kala Academy classes are held with only 3-4 students per class.

During the pre- lockdown period , the students used to attend classes for the span of 2-3 hours after school. There were only limited groups at a time.

According to Mr Gaude, there is a lot of space in the academy for which they are trying their level best to provide the classes physically abiding with the social distancing norms.

However, the same is impossible in case of Kala Academy College Theatre of Arts.

As for now the music and dance teachers are engaged in completing the admission procedure for the first year candidates under the college section.
