In order to compile a versatile group of data sets relating to social and economic status, the Indian School of Business (ISB) has introduced a new one-stop data portal.

ISB launched this portal on Thursday. The portals will make it easier for researchers, policymakers, and everyday citizens to have access to the economic patterns as well as track how the country’s economy is doing on its path to recovery.
A real-time assessment and analysis is compiled by numerous high-frequency indicators or HFIs. They are all gathered to a common platform where they can be made available and accessible. The data that is available through this portal ranges across all areas of the economy from rural to urban.

The public agencies are responsible for providing this data under two classifications of monthly and daily data, depending on how often the data is updated. So far the data is only available in English. However it will be introduced in six regional languages by the end of August.
