New Delhi: Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Lucknow has partnered with the UP Government to collaborate on the NIPUN Bharat Mission. The Chief Minister's NIPUN Bharat Associates (CMNBA) programme seeks to recruit young, gifted professionals who will serve as catalysts in the execution of the NIPUN Bharat Mission.

The educational objectives of Bharat Mission will witness a new chapter written by the UP government with the help of IIM Lucknow, who's a knowledge partner for the Chief Minister's NIPUN Bharat Associates (CMNBA) programme.
A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been signed between the state education department and IIM Lucknow. As per the agreement, the management institute will aid and support in promotion, capacity building, and design training of the project.
The department and IIM Lucknow's strategic involvement will assist the Chief Minister's NIPUN Bharat Associates (CMNBAs) project. Its main objective is to involve talented young professionals in NIPUN Bharat Mission activities, which are focused on achieving FLN (foundational reading and numeracy) goals set for each grade.
Director general school education Vijay Kiran Anand said that the collaboration will ensure that the CMNBAs are well-trained and well-equipped to identify the gaps in implementation of NIPUN Bharat Mission on the ground and will work under DMs and CDOs for implementation of NEP interventions in the state.
According to the agreement, IIM Lucknow will provide Samagra Shiksha with technical assistance, resources, and guidance in the areas of outreach for applications, induction, training, capacity building, academic module design, and sensitization/orientation of the district administration representatives on the CMNBA programme, in addition to infrastructure for scheduling training.
According to IIM Lucknow director Prof. Archana Shukla, IIM Lucknow is delighted to be a part of this programme, which has the potential to have a substantial impact on education.
As part of the CMNBA initiative, a total of 111 extraordinary young people who are extremely skilled, motivated, and qualified will receive training to work with district administration.
In order to speed up implementation and support the state in achieving the NIPUN Bharat Mission goal of having all students enrolled in classes 1-3 display grade-level competency, each associate will endeavour to ensure that goals, targets, and action plans are crystal clear.
Additionally, the associates will create district- or block-level efforts to deal with neighbourhood problems and make sure that instructors receive top-notch training that is correctly contextualised for the locale. In order to enhance NIPUN Bharat, they will also assist with community engagement activities and independent evaluations of FLN in the districts.
