New Delhi: ICFAI University, Baddi has begun the application process for its PhD program for the academic session 2023-24. Interested and eligible candidates can enrol for PhD Admission through the official portal, @www.iuhimachal.edu/.

ICFAI University Baddi offers a three-year regular and four-year part-time PhD program in multiple specialisations including Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science Engineering & Management, Commerce, and Economics.

Candidates intending to enrol for the PhD program can submit their online or offline applications till July 29, 2023. ICFAI University Baddi PhD Admission 2023 will be done on the basis of merit obtained by the candidates in the entrance test followed by the Interview round.

ICFAI University Baddi PhD Admission 2023: Eligibility Criteria

Candidates seeking admission to the ICFAI University PhD program, candidates will have to meet the requisite eligibility criteria.

Common PhD Eligibility:

• Candidates with a Master's degree with minimum 55% of the required marks, an equivalent grade or CGPA, or an equivalent qualification recognized by the university are eligible for a PhD Admission. 
• For candidates who are SC/ST/OBC (non-creamy layer)/differently-abled, a relaxation of 5% will be permitted. 
• The University will hold an entrance exam to determine the eligibility of the candidate for the PhD program. 
• Candidates who have passed the relevant UGC-NET, SLET, GATE, or GPAT exam are not required to take the entrance exam.

ICFAI University Baddi PhD Admission 2023: Selection Process

• Candidate's selection to the PhD program will be done through the IU HP application form. 
• All the final-year students who have not yet received their original certificates from the board or universities by August 1, 2023, will be admitted provisionally.
• The admission will only be confirmed if they pass the qualifying exam and fulfil the aforementioned minimum conditions.
• As per the University Notification, the deletion of the seat, the registration of candidates who do not meet the requirements before September 17, 2023 will be cancelled, and only 50% of the semester price will be reimbursed.

• Candidates who have applied for cancellation of their seat on or before August 16, 2023, must note that an amount of INR 1000 will be deducted as Administrative charges and the rest of the amount paid will be refunded to the candidates.
