New Delhi: Himachal Pradesh Technical University has released the dates of its Common Entrance Exam (CET) 2023 on its official website. According to the website, HPCET 2023 is to be held on May 14, 2023 for admission to BTech, BPharmacy, MBA, MBA (tourism and hospitality management), and MCA programmes.
HPCET 2023 will be conducted in two shifts: the morning shift and the evening shift. The test for BTech, BPharmacy, and MCA programs admission is to be held in the morning shift while the MBA general and MBA (Tourism and Management) entrance tests will be held in the evening shift.
HPTU has not yet released the application dates and admission schedule for UG, PG admissions. The entrance exam date being set in May, it can be expected that the application process will begin from March-end or April.
HPCET 2023 will be conducted throughout 16 cities in Himachal Pradesh. It is a computer-based multiple choice test. There will be multiple choice questions carrying 2 marks each. Each correct answer will earn 2 points and 0.5 points will be deducted for every negative marking.
The test comprises of 50 questions in each segment and a total of 300 marks in the paper. The exam duration is of 3 hours.
