New Delhi: The Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (GBSHSE) is all set to declare the results for the Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC) or Class 12 term 1 examination. Once it is released, the students can download Goa Board HSSC Result by visiting the official website at result1.gbshse.in.
The GBSHSE Goa Board HSSC Term 1 results 2023 will be released by the exam conducting authority through online mode. Thus, the candidates will have to enter their required credentials, i.e, seat number or name to access the GBSHSE HSSC scorecard.
The Goa Board will also release the result evaluation criteria. The board will prepare the results considering the marks obtained by the candidates in a ratio in their 10th, 11th & 12th class internals.

The above analysis illustrates that there is a sudden declination in 2018 overall students appeared in the exam and overall passing percentage. However, the passing percentage rose from the year 2014 to 2017.
Earlier, in 2014, the passing percentage was 86.44%, in 2015 it was 89.36, in the year 2016 it was 92.23 and in the year 2017, it was 95.62%.
Compared to 2015, the number of appearing students increased in the year 2016. Whereas in 2018, the total 16,901 students have appeared in the examination out of which 88% students pass the examination.
In 2020, the result was quite similar to the previous years although there was a slight increment in the passing percentages. Similarly, in 2021, a total of 18,195 students appeared in the examination out of which 99.4% students passed the examination.
Goa Board HSSC Result 2023: How to Check?
Go through the steps below to check Goa Board HSSC Results 2023:
Step 1: Visit the official website @result1.gbshse.in.
Step 2: On the homepage, click on the link that says 'Goa Board HSSC Result 2023'
Step 3: It will redirect you to a new page, where you should enter “Seat Number” or “Name”
Step 4: Now, click on the “Find Results” button.
Step 5: The Goa Board HSSC Results 2023 will be displayed on the computer screen in the PDF format.
Step 6: Download the PDF and check and take a printout of it for admission purposes.
According to the Goa Board website, the First Term Performance will be made available from February 1, at 1.00 pm onwards and candidates will be able to view their responses along with the response sheet on the website.
Further, the candidates can verify the accuracy of their responses. In case of any error/ discrepancy, the same may be challenged through online mode.
Candidates can challenge through online mode by paying INR 25 for each response. In case of a successful challenge, the amount charged will be refunded to the said candidate. The last date to submit the challenges is February 8, 2023.
Goa Board HSSC Result 2023: Important Points To be Remembered
- Based on the marks obtained by the students in the exam, they will be able to choose their further study.
- The mark sheet plays an important role to get admission in any institution/ college in which students want admission. So, keep the result secure till the admission procedure.
- The students will be able to collect their passing certificates cum statement of Grades/Marks after the declaration of result as per the specified schedule by the board authority.
- Students will apply for the revaluation or re-checking if they have any doubt in the examination marks.
Earlier, the Board conducted the GBSHSE Class 12 board exams for the term 1 examination between November 10 to November 23, 2022. The Goa Board will not provide HSSC Class 12 term 1 mark sheets. However, the final mark sheet will be released after collating the performance in both terms.
