DU SOL Admission 2022 (Started): Apply Till October 30


New Delhi: Delhi University has started the admission 2022 portal for their School of Learning (SOL) from October 3, 2022. The admission to the courses in DU SOL will be according to NEP 2020 and won't be conducted through CUET 2022. Last date to apply for SOL DU Admissions is October 30, 2022.

Delhi University has also launch the admission portal for its Department of Distance and Continuing Education (DDCE), and Campus of Open Learning (COL) along with SOL. The admission to these courses will be according to the undergraduate curriculum framework (UGCF) 2022 under NEP 2022. 

It must be noted that DU SOL, DU COL and DDCE admissions will not be on the basis of Common University Entrance Test (CUET) 2022, as announced by the varsity earlier.

During a webinar on DU Admissions, the officials said that the enrollment through the ECA quota for the academic year 2022-23 will be done in 14 ECA categories, adding that candidates can apply for a maximum of three ECA categories. However, admission will be offered in only one category.

DU SOL Admission 2022: Eligibility Criteria

DU SOL UG Admission Eligibility Criteria:

To get admission in any of the undergraduate courses, the students should have completed their Class 12th with a minimum of 40% marks in aggregate. Now, there can be special courses such as B.Com Honours where the eligibility of the students should be above 60% in Class 12. Similarly, in subjects such as B.A. English Honors, the student must have scored about 75% in English subject of Class 12th board exam. Hence, it is important that the students should check through the cutoff marks that the university is asking for each of the courses.

DU SOL PG Admission Eligibility Criteria:

Now for the postgraduate courses, the mandatory eligibility is that the candidate should have passed graduation from a reputed university. Now, similar to the undergraduate courses, different postgraduate courses may also have different requirements in terms of merit. So, the candidates should check out the cutoff that they require to show in their graduation marks to get admission in any of the postgraduate courses in DU SOL.

DU SOL Admission 2022: Documents Required

Here are the crucial documents that candidates should keep ready while filling up the online form.

  • Scanned copy of your latest passport size photograph and your signature
  • Self-attested copies of your certificates and marksheets according to the course in which you are getting admission such as Class 10th and 12th documents for UG course while an additional graduation document for PG course.
  • Scanned migration certificate for students who have passed their Class 12th or Graduation from universities of other states apart from Delhi.
  • Self-attested certificate copy for reservation if it is applicable
  • Self-attested certificate of income proof if you are applying for financial support for your education at the university.
