“To interact with youth connects me with the education sector”

One of the biggest assets for a student is education. It makes a wide change in the life of an individual. I have teaching experience of more than 15 years. Interacting with young my mind always connects me with the education sector.

What is your philosophy of leadership in Amritsar College of Nursing?

“To focus on developing frameworks and allocate resources for students”

We focus less on daily concerns and more in developing frameworks. I am always a strategic leader who works hard to achieve campus goals. It is necessary to plan or analyze data, allocating resources and developing partnerships. Strategic leaders consider partnerships and collaboration for accomplishing major goals.

What courses are available and brief the total seats in respective courses of campus?

“BSC Nursing, ANM, GNM, and Post Basic Nursing are the courses available on campus”

Our campus gives courses such as BSC Nursing, ANM, GNM, and Post Basic Nursing, for students. D'Pharmacy is the recent course on campus that covers all pharmacy related. Each course contains an average of 60 seats and admission is very smooth for candidates. 

How does Amritsar College of Nursing welcome students of different economic backgrounds?

We welcome each candidate from all religions or castes. Our students are coming from various parts of India such as Punjab, Jammu Kashmir, Bihar and more. We provide separate hostel facilities for Boys and Girls. Our campus gives scholarships to respective students based on their eligibility.

What are your roles and responsibilities to Amritsar College of Nursing and students?

“To develop effective educational programs and promote the learning of pupils”

My primary responsibilities is to develop and maintain effective educational programs within campus. Another one is to promote the improvement of teaching and learning. I need to create an organization which fosters growth of students and teachers.

What would you like people to know about your university they may not know?

“Flexible curriculum with a prescribed syllabus along with training for students”

We prepare nurses to serve the institutions, and patients equally. They need to meet the basic health needs of a community. We are conscious of the changing needs of society. Our campus emphasizes imparting education and training to the students. We follow a prescribed syllabus to make students into good human beings and professionals. also. Campus provide a flexible curriculum to keep pace with changes occurring in the field of nursing and patient care.

One of the primary strengths of college is teachers. They provide practical learning to pupils throughout the curriculum. We give well equipped labs and a comfortable environment for students to learn.

Youth need to work hard to achieve their dreams. I believe that every student has the capability to outshine irrespective of his/her circumstances. It is essential to work hard and make your parents feel proud. At the end, you can feel proud of your success.
