Dr. Meenakshi Bindal is the Dean of Lords Business School in Lords University, Alwar. She has a total experience of 18 years as a management faculty. Having completed her Ph.D., MBA (Finance), M.com. (Business administration,EAFM) and B.Com, her subjects of expertise are Accounts, Managerial Economics, Financial Management, Operation and supply management, etc. She has previously worked in positions such as lecturer, professor, HOD, Principal, and finally as a Dean. With help of her knowledge and expertise, she aims to provide top-class education and career opportunities to the students.

What has been your vision for the College?

“To shape the College into a reputed and developed University that provides top-class business education”

When I joined the University in 2019, it was still in the growing phase. I am dedicated to using my experience and exposure for enhancing the quality of education and facilities we can provide to the students. In 2 years, we have introduced MBA, BCom, and BBA courses. Also, we introduced some professional development programs in our college.

How does your curriculum ensure the best practice of industry?

“Our education system is enriched with a quality curriculum that facilitates academic environment”

We ensure that we provide them with practical knowledge also. We conduct weekly presentation sessions, group discussions, and interactive sessions. Students can share their ideologies or innovative ways with the faculty and take guidance for improving themselves.

Do you have any extracurricular activities to enhance the skills of the students?

“A recent introduction of a program called “ANANDAM” promoting the social welfare of society”

“Anandam” teaches the students about their moral duties towards society.Being responsible for creating a healthy environment and the important social obligations that are essential for personal development. We also implement the “Swachhta Abhiyan” in and around the campus.

How do you establish a healthy relationship and environment in the college?

“By developing an environment of trust, belief, and faith among students, faculty members, and staff members”

We conduct regular Interaction sessions with the students in case they have any suggestions for improving the institute or are facing any challenges in the college environment. I communicate with the faculty also, to ensure the best practice for the students. Students can also put-up ideas and we work as a team for implementing what is good for the University. This creates a healthy and friendly environment between students and the administration.

The working environment of the college is very good. The management is very cooperative with the students as well as the teaching faculty. We are constantly bringing up proposals for improving the institute and provide the best to the students. We ourselves are growing and the only way to make that happen is by making our students achieve big, which is our ultimate goal.

How do you guide your students to survive in the current competitive scenario?

“Enhancing soft skills to modify the overall personality of a student is essential” 

We teach our students that if they Believe in themselves if they are confident and they take exposure from real-time experiences they can succeed in anything. We help them in skill and personality development, improving communication skills, and boost confidence.
