What are your roles and responsibilities towards the students?

“To understand the concerns of students and contribute to their knowledge building”

My main role is understanding the concerns of the students and then contributing to their knowledge base as per their requirements. Every student is unique and so are their requirements. Therefore, my responsibility, I would say, is to train the students not just equally but equitably.

How do you try to bring in a practical approach to subjects?

“Encourage students to implement theories in real-time”

Subjects come alive when theory is accompanied by experiences. Hospital Management subjects deal with a lot of complex concepts and intricate theories so the only way for the students to understand them is to see their implementation in real-time. For that purpose, we at Inspiria have always encouraged regular industry visits and frequent internship programs. These programs help the students to get a clear picture of what they have been taught by their professors.

What are the best practices offered by the department to the students?

“Department organizes regular medical camps, vaccination drives, and interactive sessions”

Apart from the state-of-the-art infrastructure provided by the college, the BBA Hospital Management department at Inspiria believes in providing a healthy environment where the students can hone their abilities and for that reason, we organize regular medical camps, vaccination drives, interaction sessions with eminent personalities from relevant fields. Our students are well trained to handle stressful situations and are instilled with good communication skills. Apart from this, we also teach our students about the importance of work-life balance which will help them to become successful in their professional and personal lives.

How does your department prepare students for Higher education?

“Providing Students with mentoring programs to prepare them for competitive exams like CAT”

BBA HM has and will always encourage education no matter what the medium or mode of study may be. The department instills a knack for research in students to help them find a way out of redundancy. The college has provided and continues to provide numerous opportunities in the form of symposiums, seminars, and conferences for students to showcase & polish their research skills to make it easier for students in their higher education. Inspiria has also started mentoring programs for competitive exams like CAT to provide a stepping stone for a better career.

How do you help your student to handle the intense competition outside the classroom?

“To make the students highly industry-oriented”

We believe in making our students industry-ready. By the time they have completed their course, they are fully aware and prepped with the necessary skills and knowledge which are needed for them to excel. To achieve this, we’ve employed novel techniques like soft skills training & mock interview sessions which help the students anticipate the world that lies outside of the college walls.

What are the benefits & career options after pursuing this course?

“Students get employed in both the public and private sector as administrators and managers”

Health is a necessity which means that while other industries may come to a halt, the healthcare industry will continue to boom. So, BBA Hospital Management students can be assured of the fact that they will never be unemployed as long as they have the necessary skills. Working in the hospital industry is the first and obvious career choice after pursuing this course. The graduates can be employed in private and public sectors as Administrators or Managers. They can even dive into specific profiles like Marketing Managers, Quality Assurance Managers, and so on. Apart from this, Hospital management graduates can be employed in healthcare consultancies, insurance firms, and so on. If you have what the employers are looking for, the sky's the limit.

What do you see as the college’s greatest strengths?

“State of the art technology and good infrastructure are the greatest strengths”

Inspiria’s strength lies in the fact that we truly understand the job market requirements and are willing to deliver. We try to understand where the students stand and train them accordingly. Moreover, Inspiria Knowledge Campus prides itself in being the first movers in every aspect whether it is the type of courses being provided, the first-class infrastructure, the technology being used, or the facilities being provided.

Any valuable advice would you like to give to the students?

“Be a steadfast, diligent learner, and always remember that empathy for others will help you in this industry”

I feel that as a management student, it's important to back yourself up with facts and empirical studies while being creative enough to develop solutions to problems in an innovative way. To do this you will need the knowledge which is delivered to you in the form of classroom lectures as well as the training you receive outside of your classrooms. So, do not underestimate the importance of both. Be a steadfast, diligent learner, and always remember that empathy for others is something that will help you sustain yourself in this industry.
