Describe the general setting of WAT / GD (if any)
Anuj Sharma: “Many candidates prepare well for the Group Discussion (GD), Written Ability Test (WAT) and Personal Interview (PI) but make some mistakes and fail to make it to their dream institute. When a candidate appears for the GD-WAT-PI, he/she must keep in mind that he/she is being judged not only on what is being spoken or written by him/her but on several other parameters like their body language, pitch, expressions, mannerism, etc.”
What was the WAT / GD Topic?
Khushbu Yadav: “Group" is a collection of individuals who have regular contact and frequent interaction and who work together to achieve a common set of goals. "Discussion" is the process whereby two or more people exchange information or ideas in a face-to-face situation to achieve a goal. The goal, or end product, may be increased knowledge, agreement leading to action, disagreement leading to competition or resolution or perhaps only a clearing of the air or a continuation of the status quo.”
What were your answers/points put forward for the WAT or GD respectively?
Khushbu Yadav: “Group discussion (GD), Personal Interview (PI) and Written Ability Test (WAT) are an integral part of the MBA/PGDM admission process. It is crucial to know what to say and what NOT to say during a GD and PI. The same goes for WAT. Candidates should know what to write and how to write in 250-300 words within 20 minutes. Over the last few years, IIMs have done away with GD, so WAT has gained prominence. GD is still an integral part of other top MBA colleges such as IIFT, SIMB, MDI, IMT, etc. Most of the top B-schools conducted Essay Writing round as well to judge candidate's ability to communicate lucidly.”
Describe the general setting of your Interview.
Khushbu Yadav: “An interview is essentially a structured conversation where one participant asks questions, and the other provides answers. [1] In common parlance, the word "interview" refers to a one-on-one conversation between an interviewer and an interviewee. The interviewer asks questions to which the interviewee responds, usually providing information. That information may be used or provided to other audiences immediately or later. This feature is common to many types of interviews – a job interview or interview with a witness to an event may have no other audience present at the time, but the answers will be later provided to others in the employment or investigative process. An interview may also transfer information in both directions”

Mention 3 reasons why you chose this college over other colleges which you converted
Khushbu Yadav:
I had several options on where to attend college and decided to attend at _____ based primarily on the academic reputation for my major. After college, I was able to compare my college experience very directly with other new grads that started at the same time as me. I was able to see what they had learned and, more importantly, not learned in college. At that time it became clear to me how well prepared I was for doing my job after graduation compared to my peers graduating from other colleges. While I was productive very quickly, others required more remedial training to come up to speed. This starting differential also allowed me to lead some of our internal training classes, as well as become involved with on-campus recruiting for our future hires.
