After 15 long years of my professional experience, I have joined academics to deliver finest quality and practical industrial knowledge to students to enhance their learning abilities and expand their knowledge by improving the existing teaching pedagogies. And I always had a passion for teaching and keeping myself updated with the latest happenings of the outside world. Hence I believe these factors have helped me stay connected with the education sector.

How do you motivate and prepare your students to confidently face the outside challenging world?

"Students are regularly engaged in co-curricular activities and skill development programs of college"

For the purpose of making students ready for the outside competitive world, we regularly organize Students Development Programs along with a diverse range of extracurricular activities. While co-curricular activities help them to showcase their unique talents to others, development programs on the other hand helps them to enhance their professional skills.

How does the curriculum of APCOA ensure the best practices of industry?

We design and update the curriculum of our college after rigorous analysis of industrial practices, development, trends and requirements. And we have adopted standardized approaches for effective teaching-learning processes and thoroughly analyze academic progress and performance of each student through extracurricular activities which we regularly organize as per industry standards and syllabus. In addition to this, we have signed MOUs with the practicing industries and professional organizations like IIA and AESA IID to understand industrial practices and technologies from a closer look.

How does your college make the students industry ready?

We organize a wide variety of skill development programs for students on a regular basis in order to make them ready for the outside challenging world. Apart from this, we offer various value added certification courses to students in the discipline of Interior Designing, Architecture, 2D and 3D Designing along with software like AutoCAD and our teaching staff is always ready to deliver best quality education to students and are in fact our main pillar in making students industry ready. 

What kind of opportunities does your college provide to students to help them pursue their dreams?

Our college provides abundant learning opportunities and appropriate platforms such as NSS, Professional Expertise Cultural Programs like Swar Rang Sakal YIN and leadership events to students to help them pursue their dreams and also contribute in social services.

What are some of the biggest challenges you see for your college specifically?

"Making students confident about the available job opportunities in the outside world is a real struggle"

The main challenge in front of us currently is to make our Graduate students convinced and aware about the scope and variety of job opportunities which are available in the outside world both in India and abroad as per their respective courses. Apart from this, making them industry ready and helping them develop a strong prospectus also become a hurdle for us sometimes.
