Hence, I believe in becoming a part of the team.

What are the changes you see in students at JD Institute of Fashion Technology?

“Better resources, exposure, and updates in the industry available for pupils”

When I was a student around 30 years ago, there was no internet at that time. We always sit in the library, researching, marking assignments, searching content, and exploring books. Students in the modern world have a lot of facilities. They get better exposure, resources, and updates on the industry. We used to put a lot of time into the same content and information in a past era.

“Update of a fast-changing industry, career-oriented awareness and counseling for pupils”

The primary challenge is a requirement of career-oriented awareness and counseling at the school level. The students want to be in the industry and are not familiar with the career available in the industry. Opportunities in the industry are the primary one that works upon. The student will be able to realize their dream according to their strength and Interest. Moreover, the second challenge is to keep updated according to the fast-changing industry. Everything is available online in the digitized world. Hence, we need to cope-up with changing industries.

What do you feel about the difference in education systems when students go for higher studies abroad?

“Unawareness of students about the fashion industry in India”

Fashion and designs in the Indian industry offer different kinds of avenues for the students who are unaware of. Our industry offers several aspects that students can be suited here for various roles. The foreign universities are updated much compared to the Indian campus. It is a crucial difference. Indian students get proper skills and an environment that creates a big difference. Hence, students who enter into the industry are doing well in the market and achieving every day.

What are your views on a vocal to local initiative that helps JD Institute?

“To generate business updates and maximum opportunities in a particular area”

I appreciate the effort vocal for local initiative. It is a program started by the government which is one district, one product. I have been a part of it. We have seen how the chicken curry of Lucknow was taken under this scheme. Hence, the business generated, and maximum opportunities for the product available to people. With this kind of program, the fashion industry has got avenues. The designer or fresher wants to take up the art of the city and promote it at other levels.

“Honest hard work fulfills your dreams”

My basic message to every student is that there is no shortcut to success. It is necessary to work hard in the fashion industry. Those who want to chill, forget it today itself. Honest hard work helps to fulfill your dreams. I have seen students coming from very small cities developing their personalities. Moreover, they are enhancing knowledge and doing good in the industry. I feel proud to see what they have achieved in their journey.
