Jayant Bhatia: “General (No reservation).”
Describe the general setting of WAT / GD (if any)?
Jayant Bhatia: “The Group Discussion was conducted in an offline manner. There were around 8-10 members in each group. It was an open discussion where everybody got the opportunity to speak. Around 5-7 minutes were given to think on the topic. Group Discussion was neither aggressive nor soft. I can just say everyone kept their views in a decent manner. WAT was also offline with around 10 minutes given to write on the topic. One side on a ruled sheet was required to be filled with the topic and some basic details. The GD as well as the WAT topic were the same and were related to recent affairs. The panel was the same for all( GD; WAT & interview).”
What was the WAT / GD Topic?
Jayant Bhatia: “The topic did 'state elections are the path to winning national elections”
What were your answer/points put forward for the WAT or GD respectively?
Jayant Bhatia: “I put forward points related to how politics actually works in India.Where there have been many state parties who have ruled states whole their life but were never able to gain theirs. stand in the national elections. Also, I pointed out that the BJP government was able to pull off such a big win in the national elections only because there was a wave or trend of work they had done in the states where they ruled and the representative they brought forward showed us a promising future for the nation that was similar to the work he did in the state.”
Describe the general setting of your personal Interview.
Jayant Bhatia: “There were 2 panels each consisting of 3 members which included faculty as well as industry experts. The interview was conducted in an offline manner and for a period of 10-12 minutes for each student. It was not a stress interview, questions asked were of curriculum and general affairs.”

- Comparatively Fewer fees with a good placement record.
- Location: Delhi was an attractive factor
- One of the top institutes to study Finance."
What was the reason for you not converting other colleges? (if any)
Jayant Bhatia: “The basic issue was just fees. I didn't convert to any IIM so I found this college very reasonable.”
