Collegedunia Team: What was your CAT percentile? Did you avail reservation benefits for LBSIM PGDM Admission?

Prateek: My CAT 2021 percentile was 80.5% and being a general class candidate I did not avail any reservation benefits.

Collegedunia Team: Describe your Pre PGDM Academic Performance for Collegedunia readers?

Prateek: I had scored 76% in the 10 board exam and a decent percentage in 12 boards i.e. 64.4%. Also, graduated from GLS University with 72.2%.

Collegedunia Team: Describe the general setting of WAT / GD (if any).

Prateek: The GD round was conducted in online mode. Around 5-7 members were present in each discussion group. There was no moderator present and everyone got a fair opportunity to speak their points. The round was however a bit aggressive and each took around 20-30 minutes.

Pro Tips: Always don't be in a hurry. Work more on the context and content. And remember to be a good listener and patient .

Collegedunia Team: What was the WAT/GD Topic?

Prateek: The topic given in the GD round- Importance of Yoga in daily life, and an Extempore on Pen and Recession. 

Collegedunia Team: What was your answer/points put forward for the WAT or GD respectively? 

Prateek: The points which I had put forward for the GD round were:

For Yoga :

I did mention the importance of yoga in physical as well as mental health and highlight how the yoga business is expanding in western countries.

For Recession :

I pointed out some knowledge from economics and current affairs.

Collegedunia Team: Describe the general setting of your personal Interview.

Prateek: The Interview process was conducted in Online mode, and they were just checking the knowledge of each individual. Generally each panel consisted of 2 faculty members.

Prateek: The questions asked during the Interview are:

Ques 1. Introduce yourself in weakness only?

Ques 2. Tell us about your hometown and why is it famous?

Ques 3. Why do you want to pursue an MBA ?

Ques 4. Where do you want to see yourself in 5 years?

Ques 5. Some questions revolved around previous work experience?

Prateek: The reasons to chose this college over others:

The first reason being, that the college is located in the capital of India i.e., Delhi. And the other reason is the Ranking of the Institute and giving us better opportunities compared to other colleges that I converted.

Collegedunia Team: What was the reason for you not converting other colleges?

Prateek: I was not able to recall some basic questions and jargon like 4Ps and Statistic questions during the Interview which resulted in my rejection in most of the applied colleges.
