Gnanam School of Business organized an event of “Cerebral Connect on Innovation in Pharma Industry” on 25th June 2021.The Guest Lecturer was Dr. Venkatesh Katgeri, Vice President- Srikem Laboratories Pvt. Ltd. Mumbai. As the Event began, Mr. Sandeep Sabu from the Taylor’s batch did the Mc and Our respected Director S. Sundar welcomed our Chief guest on behalf of our entire Gsb and Ms. Thenmozhi from Taylor’s batch introduced our guest of honor. The main aim of this event is to know about the insights of the Innovation in Pharma Industry.

He clearly explained about What is Pharma Industry? and how the medicine reaches the consumers and what are all the changes made in the Pharma industry after Covid and where else is innovation happening? And the difference between homeopathy and allopathy with various examples in a detailed manner.

The students asked many interactive questions and the chief guest’s answers to the questions were new and it was helpful to understand their doubts and the students got a broad knowledge of Innovation in Pharma Industry. Finally, Ms. Sindhuja from Taylor’s batch delivered the Vote of thanks and the meeting came to an end filled with great knowledge.

Gnanam School of Business organized an event of “Cerebral Connect on “Retail- Post Covid” recently.The Guest Lecturer was Shri. Kumar Rajagopalan CEO- Retailer’s Association of India [RAI], Mumbai. As the Event began, Mr. Naveen Kumar from the Taylor’s batch did the Mc and Our respected Director. S. Sundar welcomed our Chief guest on behalf of our entire Gsb and Ms. Abirami from Taylor’s batch introduced our guest of honor. The main aim of this event is to know about the insights of the Retail- Post Covid.

He clearly explained about What is Retailing? and about RAI and overall Indian retail and what are all the categories share in Indian retail and how is retailing done after covid? What are all the steps to be taken by the retailers and the key strategies that retailers can adopt with various examples in a detailed manner.

The students asked many interactive questions and the chief guest’s answers to the questions were new and it was helpful to understand their doubts and the students got a broad knowledge of Retail- Post Covid. Finally, Ms. S. Shiny from Taylor’s batch delivered the Vote of thanks and the meeting came to an end filled with great knowledge.


Cerebral Connect on “Myth of Happiness”

Gnanam School of Business organized a Cerebral Connect on “Myth of Happiness” recently.The Guest of the day was Dr. Ashish Ambasta, Founder and CEO of Happy + Consulting, Mumbai. The programme commenced in the presence of Dr. Ashish Ambasta, Dr. S. Sundar, Director Gnanam School of Business and Dr S.P.S Arul Doss, CEO, Gnanam School of Business. As the Event began, Our respected Prof. S. Saravanan welcomed and introduced our guest of honor on behalf of our entire Gsb. The main aim of this event is to know about the insights of the Myth of Happiness.

He started with what is happiness? From where it coms? He clearly explained about what Happiness is and why small happiness is important? He gave tips on how to get rid of stress in our life. He said if you want to be a happiest person please help others and do meditation. He explained the importance of meditation with various examples in detail.

The students asked many interactive questions and the chief guest’s answers to the questions were new and it was helpful to understand their doubts and the students got a broad knowledge of Myth of Happiness.

Power Talk on Cloud Computing

Gnanam School of Business organized a Power Talk on “Cloud Computing” recently. The program commenced in the presence of  Ms.R. Kiruba Nagini, Chief Operations Officer, Institute of Artificial intelligence, Technology Business Incubator (TBI), University of Madras, Chennai, and Dr.S. Sundar, Director, Gnanam School of Business.

The chief guest addressed the students regarding the topic of Cloud Computing. She started with the term cloud computing as manipulating, configuring, and accessing the hardware and software resources remotely and how it offers online data storage, infrastructure, and application. 

She explained cloud computing is available in four types as Public cloud, Private cloud, Hybrid cloud and Community cloud and the Cloud computing models that are available in Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS), Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS), and Software-as-a-Service (SaaS), in detail with live examples which was an eye-opening session to our students. 

She added Cloud computing that abolishes the capital overheads of buying hardware and software and setting up and running on-site datacenters and round-the-clock electricity for power and cooling. She described also how it increases Speed, Productivity, Performance, and Reliability in an organization very clearly. Further, she articulated that, although cloud computing is a promising innovation with various benefits in the world of computing, it comes with some risks. 

The students asked many questions and interacted with the guest. The chief guest’s answers to the questions were new and it was helpful to understand and clear the doubts. The students were enlightened and empowered by the words of the chief guest Ms.R. Kiruba Nagini.

Gnanam School of Business organized a Cerebral Connect on the topic “Entrepreneurial Mindset” recently. The programme was commenced in the presence of Mr. R. Anantharaman, CEO, First Technology Business Incubator (FTBI), SASTRA University, Thanjavur, and Dr. S. Sundar,  Director,  Gnanam School of Business. 

The Chief Guest, Mr.Kannan Raghavn, addressed the students regarding the concepts related to Entrepreneurial Mindset. He started the session with the names of the Entrepreneurs and expound the personality of the leaders and their mindset. He added that meaning mindset is the adventure mindset that is creating new or different what we think. He shared 7 qualities of an Entrepreneur and how the entrepreneurial mindset and employee mindset differs. He said the entrepreneurs always finding solution to any problem, they must have out off box thinking, and they will create opportunities to others. 

Further he shared some of the other important mindset of an Entrepreneurs like execution excellence, Confidence in their activity, co-creation and collaboration, Effective communication, and accountability and commitment. He shared the Qualities of an Entrepreneur and how they are different from others in detail with simple and suitable examples.

The students prepared a questionnaire and the doubts were clarified by the Chief Guest. The students of GSB were enriched and enkindled with his innovative thoughts on the topic “Entrepreneurial Mindset”.
