Kartik Sharma Admission Experience

Did you avail of the benefit of any reservation?

Kartik Sharma: “General (No reservation).”

Describe the general setting of WAT / GD (if any)?

Kartik Sharma: “BIMTEECH conducts a WAT as its first round of screening. As I am a student of the 19-21 batch things were conducted offline and the WAT was conducted in the college itself. For WAT majorly current and trending topics are given and the idea is to evaluate your critical thinking as well as your knowledge of Current affairs. My Suggestion to aspirants will be to keep their knowledge up to date and don't start writing immediately in the WAT exam, first collect your thoughts for few minutes and then give a structured answer.

WAT was simple: We were shown a video and asked to write down our thoughts in 10 minutes on a sheet which was later handed over to the moderators. There was a word limit of 100 words. And after watching the video we were immediately asked to write, so no time was given to think."

What was the WAT / GD Topic?

Kartik Sharma: “My topic was related to the privacy policy of Aadhar."

What were your answer/points put forward for the WAT or GD respectively?

Kartik Sharma: “First I explained the meaning of the topic in a crisp and creative manner and then I evaluated both good and bad sides of the policy which highlighted my critical thinking skills and the fact that one can evaluate both sides of the coin.”

Describe the general setting of your personal Interview.

Kartik Sharma: “As mentioned above my interview process was also offline and it went for more than 30 minutes in my case. There were 2 panelists in my panel both from different domains. As I was a fresher, the questions asked to me were majorly about my subjects in graduation, my internship experience also there were few situational-based questions. In the last, the interview was more driven towards my hobbies and current affairs knowledge."
