What keeps you connected with the Education Sector?

“Consistency in imparting new innovations in teaching-learning”

Teaching and research are my passions. Being associated with Microsoft Innovation Center, AWS, IEEE, ACM, Computer Society of India, Namibia University, WHO, I’ve been engaged in industry-education interaction more effectively. As an educator, I don’t just teach students, I also must keep upskilling, learn the current trends and focus more on research.

What is your philosophy of leadership?

I believe more on practical knowledge”

I keep my focus on academics, for better learning and achieving desired outcomes faculty members must enhance their theoretical as well as practical domain knowledge. I keep motivating faculty members for innovation in teaching –learning process. We have an active research innovation cell in our institute focused towards creating a favorable ecosystem.

How do you strategize about the key programs and plans for the marketing and administration of your college?

“We emphasize more on social media and brand image creation”

My administration planning cover key programs such as admissions, supervision of academic affairs such as (hiring, promotion, and evaluation (with HOD’s input where appropriate), maintenance of official records, supervision and support of campus computers and network (information technology). & research administration (including grants and contract administration, and institutional compliance with AICTE & DTE regulations)

What can an inbound student gain from studying in SAIT Indore?

“Indian education focuses more on theory rather than practicals”

The Indian education system doesn’t allow creativity. Whereas in foreign countries; they focus more on practical-based learning and skill enhancement. And they allow creativity in education. The foreign education curriculum contains everything from arts to sports along with studies. Education should make a person free, should broaden the horizon of thinking and should encourage experimentation and ask questions. At our institute, we focus on preparing skilled engineers through imparting employable skills & entrepreneurship skills.

Does the curriculum of SAIT, Indore ensure the best practice of industry?

“The learning styles of the students are evaluated through a learning style test”

What are the challenges for higher education and your institute?

"To produce skilled engineers is the biggest challenge nowadays"

India needs well-skilled and highly educated people who can drive our economy forward. Our country provides highly skilled people to other countries, therefore; it is very easy for India to transfer our country from a developing nation to a developed nation. In such a scenario, sticking to a quality skilled engineer’s building process is a must.
