What are the key factors that keep you connected with the education sector?
“The ability to motivate students for their career planning and future settlement”
Education is a noble profession. The energy of young minds and joy of igniting those young minds for their goal setting and career planning is intangible. This keeps me motivated to continue my contributions in the science and technology education field.
What is your philosophy of leadership? How would you describe your leadership style?
“Motivational leadership is my way out to every hurdle with better decision making”
I will seek out and nurture opportunities to heighten my capacity as a person and leader who is visionary, ethical, engaging, tactical, technical, and reflective.
- Leadership must be motivational, leading from the front and by example.
- The team must be convinced and taken into confidence to achieve organizational goals and all efforts must be aligned towards institutes growth
- Leader must positively be able to motivate more than 90% of the team members
- The negative motivation if needed for the remaining 5 % of team members
- Disciplinary motivation to the last group of 5% team members where the aforesaid motivations are not working
How do you strategize about the key programs and plans for the marketing and administration of your College/school?
“Platforming social media associations with branding through students’ innovation”
The hard work and sincerity if consistently being ensured in teaching-learning processes, which itself creates good marketing vibes among stakeholders of the institute. Further, the modern digital marketing/platforms more related to young minds who are aspirants to seek admissions in programs offered by the institute must be explored and used for the marketing of all strengths and achievements of the institute. All faculty and staff members along with students and alumni may play a very vital role in the widespread publicity of the strengths of the institute, these resources have to be utilized more wisely through systematic planning.
The education systems in India and other foreign countries are structured very differently. In your experience, what can an inbound student gain from studying here in your institute/ university/ school?
“Exploration of international career prospects for the betterment of students”
Slowly the Indian scenario is likely to gain momentum with the new National Education Policy 2020 The main difference is Indian education systems have less emphasis on experiential learning and is more towards rigorous teaching A proper blend of the rigorous but blended mode of teaching with avenues and opportunities created for experiential learning of students may enrich the student experience about their learning.

What do you think your roles and responsibilities to the University and the students are?
“Every regulation of rules and decorum in the college premises for better management comes foremost”
As a vice president, I am responsible for every managemental activity, regulatory monitoring, development, and long vision of the institute. The Principal/Director works in collaboration with the industries personnel and the College of Teachers to ensure robust classrooms and educational programs that meet the new generation of students and families, all stakeholders. Aligning engineering activities and projects with company goals and objectives, providing expert guidance and support, approving newly-developed policies from various departments, and maintaining positive relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
What was your vision for the university? Has it evolved, and how far along in implementing that vision are you?
“Evolution is a procedure working towards the betterment of the college in every working segment”
The initial vision was to strengthen the teaching-learning processes for better university exam results along with setting up the administrative processes. The basic administrative process setup is achieved with iso certification and teaching-learning to strengthen. Now envisioning to make the institute one of the premiers in the region and later to focus all across the Country.
What would you like people to know about your university they may not know?
“Decorum creates a positive environment of learning and works the best in our college”
The sincere disciplinary teaching-learning processes with systematic student grooming efforts for preparing them as better individuals as well as engineers with problem-solving aptitude.
What are some of the biggest challenges you see, both for higher education in general and S.B. Patil College of Engineering, specifically?
“Rural education and students hesitation for quality learning”
Higher education in a rural area is facing challenges as location, quality faculties hesitate to join institutes, academic freedom, and diversity in students is true from S. B. Patil College of Engineering as well.

“The open communication and mutual understanding among students and faculties”
Transparency and honesty in all the decisions and clarity of roles, responsibilities with the well-defined quantifiable expected outcome from all faculty and staff members as well as office bearers support in building a healthy environment.
