Dr. Anuk Kumar Sharma is currently serving as the principal at BRCM College of Engineering, Haryana. With a rich experience of 16 years of teaching in reputed technical institutions, he has more than 45 research papers to his credit in national and international journals. He is also Chief Editor of three International journals IJNIET, IJSTM & IJACE and a member of International Association of Computer Science and Information Technology (IACSIT), International Associations of Engineers (IAENG) and Member of PGBOS, Hisar.

What is your vision for the education sector?

“Overall development and professional growth of students”

Education is the best means to promote equality and information literacy in society. It provides every student a platform to showcase their abilities and talents, apart from academic calibre and professional learning environment. Education aids holistic development of students with high productivity, new quality assessments and better learning practices. 


How would you describe your leadership style? 

“A vision to let others lead and grow”

Leaders must attain a vision and articulate it clearly to provide direction for the successful accomplishment of the mission. Leaders need to provide leadership opportunities for others to foster growth and share responsibility to implement ideas in a well defined manner. 


How does the curriculum of your college ensure the best practice of industry?

“Industrial collaborations and structured analysis”

We are following a well structured academic curriculum as per the industry needs and requirements in the Engineering field. We have framed good industry-university collaborations and partnerships with many multinational companies for successful analysis of project and research outcomes at global levels. The campus infrastructure includes high-tech facilities and advanced technology laboratories that give a hands on experience to students and guide and direct them towards a better technology development for human welfare.

What do you think should be the College’s top priority over the next 10 years?

“Enhancing diversity and better learning culture”

Design, develop and implement a comprehensive system of responsibility, accountability recognition for increasing campus diversity, improving campus climate advancing the knowledge base for creating and sustaining a culturally diverse community of learners, teachers, researchers and workers. We aspire to build up a data-driven instruction to support student learning, and integrate technology to establish a positive school culture providing a stimulating intellectual environment for teachers and students.


How do you tend to establish a healthy relation and environment in your College?

We offer the best classroom structure where students and teachers grow and learn together. Good communication and interaction leads to relationship-building and sharing ideas for a better learning environment. We have a positive, educating, comfortable and best environment for students and staff as well. We have established a well managed campus accessibility, personal safety and sustainability to create and enhance a sense of satisfaction among students and faculty. 


What do you think are your roles and responsibilities towards the students?

“Education Quality and academic integrity to all”

My responsibility is to improve education quality with standard accreditation and faculty development. My focus is to demonstrate academic integrity and honesty with full transparency in management and administration of the college. Students need vital attention and quality approaches to work in an effective manner.

“Hard Work and consistency in hard work are important for a student”

Achieving success in life requires constant efforts and consistent hard work. No shortcuts applicable. Life is not what we assume and never easy to survive.
