BITSAT 2022: Session 2 Registration Open; The Last Date to Apply is July 20, 2022


New Delhi: BITSAT 2022 Session 2 registration process is ongoing by BITS Pilani for admission into its B.E, B.Pharm, M.Sc, and other courses. Candidates may submit the online form through the official website, bits-pilani.ac.in. The last date to apply is July 20, 2022.

Candidates who have applied for BITSAT 2022 Session-I are eligible to apply for Session-II as per the earlier announced policy. The BITSAT exam date as declared by BITS Pilani for session 2 is August 3 to 7, 2022.

Candidates with an aggregate of 75% marks in PCM/PCB and an individual score of at least 60% each in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/ Biology can register for BITSAT. Those who complete the registration successfully will be issued the admit card to appear in the exam on July 31, 2022.

BITSAT 2022 Session 2: Eligibility Criteria

First-degree programmes except for B.Pharm (Hons) 

  • Passed class 12th with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics along with proficiency in English.
  • 75% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subjects with 60% in each of the Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics subjects.

BPharm (Hons)

  • Class 12 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology along with proficiency in English. 
  • Candidates with PCMB in Class 12 can also apply.
  • 75% marks in PCB (and Maths, if they are PCMB students) subjects with 60% in each of the Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (and Maths, if they are PCMB students) subjects.

Additional Eligibility Criteria:

  • Only students who are appearing for the Class 12 exam in 2022 or have passed in 2020 are eligible to appear in the BITSAT 2022. 
  • If a candidate has taken more than one attempt in class 12 or its equivalent, only his/her latest performance will be considered, provided this attempt had been for the full component of courses prescribed.
  • Students who are presently studying at any of the BITS campuses are not eligible.
  • Admissions will be made purely on a merit basis. The merit position is based on the score obtained by the candidate in the BITSAT 2022. However, their eligibility is subject to fulfilling the requirement of minimum marks in the Class 12 board exam, as mentioned above. 

BITSAT 2022 Session 2: How to Apply?

  • Step 1: Visit the official website of BITS Pilani, at bits-pilani.ac.in.
  • Step 2: Register yourself after filling in the required details such as Name, Email Id, Contact Number etc.
  • Step 3: Now, log in with your registration credentials and fill in all details in the Application form.
  • Step 4: Pay the application fee and submit the Application form. 
  • Step 5: Applicants must also take a printout of the form for all future needs.
