Bharathidasan University PhD Admission 2023 Open; Last Date to Apply is January 31

New Delhi: Bharathidasan University has begun the application process for the Doctoral level degree course (PhD) for the academic session 2023-24. Aspiring candidates can submit the online application form through the official portal, @https://www.bdu.ac.in/. 

Bharathidasan University offers doctoral level PhD courses under Full-Time/ Part-Time and Independent Research (Full-Time/ Part-time) scheme. There are four registration sessions for the Ph.D. program, namely, January, April, July and October. Candidates seeking admission to the PhD programmes can submit their applications till January 31, 2023.

Admission to the PhD programme is subject to Written Test followed by marks in the related PG degree followed by an interview.

Bharathidasan University PhD Admission 2023: Eligibility Criteria

Candidates seeking admission to the PhD programme will have to meet the requisite eligibility criteria. 

• Candidates who have passed PG Degree under regular pattern in recognized University with 50% marks for SC/ST/OBC (non creamy layer) / Person with Disability try and 55% marks for all Other Candidates. 
• However, Candidates who are pursuing a final year PG Course may also apply for this Qualifying Entrance Examination. 
• All the candidates having PG Degree (residing in India or Abroad) looking for PhD Program are required to apply for this Entrance Examination except NET, SET qualified less than 5 years.

Bharathidasan University PhD Admission 2023: Selection Process

• Candidate's Selection to the PhD programme will be based on the candidate's performance in the Online Entrance Test and Interview.

Bharathidasan University PhD Admission 2023: Entrance Exam 

The entrance exam will be conducted online and will consist of 50 Multiple Choice Questions for 100 marks. The syllabus will taken from the PG subject of Bharathidasan University Syllabus (*Main subject knowledge will be tested in case of grouped subjects). 

Candidates who have qualified any national level entrance exam viz. UGC NET/ CSIR NET etc OR candidates working in the sponsored research projects/teacher candidates are exempted from Entrance Examination

Step 1: Visit the official application portal of Bharathidasan University @https://www.bdu.ac.in/. 

Step 2: Register yourself after filling the required details, such as Mobile number, Email Id etc.

Step 3: Now, login with your registration credentials and fill all details in the Application form.

Step 4: Pay the application fee and submit the Application form. 

Step 5: Applicants must also take a print out of the form for all future needs.
