AIIMS BSc Nursing 2021 exam is to be conducted today, on December 28, 2021 for B.Sc (Paramedical Courses) and B.Sc. (Hons.) Nursing. Candidates are advised to check the guidelines and a few last-minute tips here. 

AIIMS BSc Nursing 2021 exam is conducted by All India Institute of Medical Sciences or AIIMS. The specific guidelines for the entrance examination can be checked on the official website. The examination will be conducted in 2 shifts (10:30 A.M.- 12:30 P.M. and 3:30 P.M.- 5:30 P.M.). Students must carry their admit cards to the examination centres. The admit cards are available on the official website from December 20, 2021.

  • Admit Card: Candidates can download the admit card from the Official website
  • Examination Schedule: The examination will be conducted in 2 shifts. The morning shift is from 10:30 A.M.- 12:30 P.M. The afternoon shift is from 3:30 P.M.- 5:30 P.M. 
  • Duration: The exam duration is 2 hours 
  • Type of Questions: All the questions will be MCQ or Multiple Choice Questions
  • Sections in Paper: The examination paper is divided into 4 sections- Physics (30 marks), Chemistry (30 marks), Biology (30 marks) and General Knowledge (10 marks)
  • Marking Scheme: There is negative marking and that is -1 for 3 wrong answers
  • Total marks: The full marks on the paper is 100
  • Mode of Exam: It is held in computer based mode.

AIIMS BSc Nursing 2021 Exam is happening today and candidates must check a few important guidelines to ensure they are fully prepared before appearing at the examination centres. Here are the guidelines as declared by the authority:

  • Candidates must reach the examination venue within the time mentioned on their admit cards. No candidate will be allowed to enter the examination hall after that time
  • Candidates must reach the examination centre minimum 30 minutes before the commencement of the examination. No one will be entertained to entre the centre after the allotted time
  • Due to the Covid situation, each candidate will have to go through a mandatory temperature check and sanitization of hands. Every candidate must wear a mask all the time
  • They must carry a hard copy of the downloaded admit card along with a valid ID proof such as Aadhaar/ PAN card, driving licence, ration card or passport. 
  • Carrying a scanned Photo ID on the mobile phones will not be considered as valid ID proof
  • Candidates must not wear any piece of jewellery, footwear with thick or heavy soles, apparels with large buttons. 
  • No candidate will be allowed to get out of the examination centre until the examination is over
  • Candidates must not carry any prohibited item such as mobile phones, calculators, digital devices or any electronic gadgets like bluetooth, watches or any ornament, belts, credit and debit cards, bags and papers 
  • Wearing a mask throughout the time and maintaining social distance is must for all the candidates
  • Candidates must carry personal hand sanitizer and transparent water bottles with them

AIIMS BSc Nursing 2021 Exam, happening today, is one of the major examinations candidates are required to face. Here are a few last-minute tips and suggestions to help them perform better in the examination:

  • Flashcards for Main Topics- Revisiting the entire syllabus just before the examination is not feasible. Students are advised to make flashcards beforehand on important topics. They can glance through those notes on the exam day
  • Don’t Spend Time on New Topics- Spending time on new topics right before the examination is a bad idea. Instead, students should revisit whatever they have studied previously and memorise those better
  • Practice Mock Questions- Solving the previous papers can boost the candidates’ confidence, can help them to understand their weaknesses and can help them to identify the topics they are good at
  • Take Good Healthcare- Today is the examination day and it is natural for the students to feel restless. It is important that they maintain good health to avoid being nauseous and perform well.
