New Delhi: Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar University aka Agra University has successfully concluded its first phase of placements, where it recorded 21 students being shortlisted for lucrative packages. However, the second phase of the placement campaign is yet to begin.
The workshop and placement campaign on Career Guidance was organized by the Training and Placement Cell of Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar University on September 8, 2022 at Sanskriti Bhawan.

A total of 325 students had registered for the Agra University placements 2022, where only about 45 students reached the placements.
Around 22 students were selected in the first phase of the placements. However, only after the completion of the two more phases, the university will hand over the offer letters to the selected students.
The first phase of the placements recorded the students of NIIT Gurugram and Edelweiss Broking Limited, Axis Bank Work participating in the Agra University campus placements.
Apart from other technical students along with B Pharma and BTech, the students of other courses also participated in the first phase of the placements.
The chief guest in the workshop and training was Prof. Ajay Taneja, Vice Chancellor of the University, who stated that the students should give interviews with full confidence even if they are not shortlisted for the next round.
He added saying that the experience of attending interviews will inspire and motivate the students to do better in their future.
Special Guest of the workshop, Registrar Dr. Vinod Kumar Singh said that the students must participate in every such workshop and placement drive as they will get exposed to a lot of employment opportunities and learn a lot.
During the Career Guidance, Prashant Gupta, Ashutosh, Pradeep Kumar, and Ramesh also expressed their views on giving and attending interviews.
The Convener of Training and Placement Cell Prof. UN Shukla said that the companies will offer a package of INR 4.25 lakh to INR 6 lakh to the shortlisted students.
Besides, Deepak Kulshrestha, Amit Sahu, Shashank Tiwari, Mansi, Sanjog, Satyaveer, Tarun, Vijay, Devendra assisted in the workshop and training programme.
