The Jazz major within the Bachelor of Music (BMus) offers the opportunity for aspiring Jazz performers and composers to prepare for a professional career. Jazz students benefit from studying with internationally recognised Jazz musicians, teachers and scholars from Europe, North America and Australasia.
The comprehensive Jazz curriculum encompasses instrumental performance techniques in one-to-one lessons, improvisation, ensemble performance, composition and musicianship.
The Jazz major leads on to several postgraduate qualifications at Victoria and will provide you with the skills to equip you for a professional music career.
