  • This master's program is designed for both law and commerce graduates who intend to make tax advocacy or tax consulting their career.
  • This program is an opportunity for graduates to develop, and for practitioners to update and hone, their knowledge of tax law. Courses are scheduled to take into account work commitments and 15-point courses are all taught intensively over three consecutive days (normally Thursday to Saturday).
  • The focus of the MTaxS program is on tax law, with the technical issues explained by academics and practitioners in the field.
  • The courses cover predominantly legislation and case law applicable to taxation, but also draw from disciplines such as economics and accounting.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement

Academic Eligibility:

  • Students must hold a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university.
  • A Grade Point Equivalent (GPE) of 5.0 is required. 

Indian Student Eligibility:

Indian students are eligible to apply if they meet the following eligibility criteria:

  • Completed a bachelor’s (3 years) degree.
  • Or, completed a bachelor’s degree requiring 4-years of study from arecognized university.

Submission of IELTS scores is compulsory for this program, however, students may submit a PTE score too instead of that.

Along with the minimum eligibility requirements, international students hailing from non-English speaking countries need to prove English proficiency through IELTS/TOEFL/any equivalent test.
