Criminology is an exciting inter-disciplinary subject that draws on sociology, psychology, and law to focus on issues such as the causes of crime, the meaning of crime, and societal reactions to crime. Eligibility & Entry Requirement

Academic Eligibility:

  • Students must hold a second class honours degree, lower division (2.2) or higher in the area of social science, law, sociology, psychology, or a cognate discipline.
  • Applicants who do not meet the minimum academic requirements but who have significant relevant professional or vocational experience will also be considered.
  • Applicants may also be required to attend an interview for the program.
  • GRE is not required for any master's programs in Ireland.

Indian Students Eligibility:

The minimum requirement is a Bachelor's degree with first division from the recognized college or university.

Along with the minimum eligibility requirements, international students hailing from non-English speaking countries need to prove English proficiency through IELTS/TOEFL/any equivalent test.
