I chose the college because the degree is 1yr so I would finish my degree fast. Costs less than in the USA. And I had heard job opportunities were good in Ireland.

Course Curriculum

If you want my honest opinion, I would not recommend the country unless you are getting into Trinity College Dublin or University College Dublin. As per my observation, jobs are mostly given on the basis of past experience and it is an uphill battle for freshers to get a job after a master's degree. I can say that the syllabus and curriculum are not bad. Now considering the Covid situation and the weather there, please think twice before choosing Ireland.

Exams

In the past, only TOEFL was required in addition to a good academic record. I also had 1.4 years of work experience. My TOEFL score was 110/120. I believe my work experience and TOEFL score got me the seat.

Placement

Not great. You will get it with effort. Research opportunities are great. You need to start applying for jobs from the first semester itself. As I mentioned earlier, great importance is given to previous work experience. It can be discouraging for freshers to see that there are so many rejections from companies. Applying early is the key. Even if you are a fresher and have good skills then you can get a job quickly. Before choosing Ireland, inquire about the situation with current students there.

Internship

No, I didn't get an internship.

Events

Well.. surely it's not as vibrant as India. You will have a lot to study and a lot of assignments. And with such extreme weather conditions, it is difficult to have extra-curricular activities during college. This is possible during the holidays. Facilities like the library, gym, and sports are excellent. How much you can use them depends on the severity of your course.

Fees

With my 1000 euro fee waiver, it cost me 17000 euro + 10000 euro for living expenses. Roughly equivalent to 25 lakhs for 1 year.

Scholarship

1000 Euro Scholarship. My classmates from India with better academic records and more work experience got more fee waivers.

Faculty

The faculty is awesome. Very knowledgeable and approachable. Supporter. John Herbert supported me a lot during and after my master's degree and helped me build my confidence.

College accommodation was expensive and gets booked up very fast so you need to be quick. It cost around 600 Euros. I stayed in private accommodation outside the college, which cost an average of 500 Euros per room. The cost varies depending on the place of stay, and type of room (single, shared, attached bathroom, etc).
