Combined Graduate level Examination is conducted for the post of Senior Assistant/Income Tax office/defense officer and Inspector of Income Tax. The recruitment process is conducted by SSC in two tier. The 1^st Tier process of recruitment is a written examination paper which contains questions on Numerical Ability, reasoning, general knowledge (modern and ancient) and English. After qualifying the 1^st Tier, you then attend the 2^nd Tier which has questions on higher Mathematics level and English. The 3^rd Tier is documents verification or a personal interview.
