If you want to work in the aviation industry as an air hostess, there are several air hostess courses after 12th grade. You can pursue a certificate or diploma programme to gain industry-specific skills, with any airline or institute that provides cabin crew training. The following are part of an air hostess's training:

• An initial screening to determine if you meet the physical and medical requirements for becoming an air hostess.
• It will be followed by a written aptitude test comprised of multiple-choice questions designed to assess one's reasoning and analytical abilities.
• The next step is group discussions, which will assess one's ability to communicate and lead in a group setting, both of which are required for cabin crew.
• Finally, a personal interview to gain an understanding of one's personality traits, disposition, and interpersonal interactions.
• A physical and mental fitness test may also be administered to ensure that the candidate is prepared for all aspects of the job. These include vision and hearing tests, blood tests, drug and alcohol tests, and other similar procedures.

Candidates who are accepted are then trained in emergency landing procedures, first aid, and the use of a defibrillator or other medical instruments. You will be taught how to obtain edible food, drinkable water, shelter, and how to seek assistance.
