Most American colleges and institutions utilize the SAT as a standardized, paper-based, multiple-choice exam for admissions. SAT results can be used to establish a student's eligibility for scholarships. The SAT tests applicants for undergraduate degrees in India and overseas on their aptitude for math, reading, and writing. Reading, Writing & Language, Math-No Calculator, and Math-Calculator are the four areas of the test. The exam was created in order to help institutions evaluate candidates' ability for higher education.
For this reason, almost 4000 universities in the US, India, and 84 other nations accept SAT results for program entrance. The test is entirely paper-based, and it is graded from 400 to 1600. The deployment of digital SAT is scheduled for January 2023. The SAT score is one of several variables considered during the comprehensive examination of an applicant's profile, but it does not ensure a student's acceptance.
