Female applicants who want to join the Indian Armed Forces must take the Military Nursing Service examination. Girls who desire to join the Indian military and work as nursing officers have a fantastic opportunity here. A short service commission for the Military Nursing Service requires at least five years of service. Service can be extended up to a total tenure of 14 years (5+5+4) depending on the service and the interest and service of the candidate. The MNS test consists of three parts: a written test, an interview, and a medical exam. Two initial medical exams are performed in MNS, including a chest X-ray and an ultrasound (UltraSonography of the abdomen). The candidates who have been narrowed down will undergo a fitness test.
