Bachelor of science is abbreviated as BSc. Students who have taken science courses in high school study the BSc, a three-year undergraduate programme. Some of the subjects covered in BSc courses include physical science, applied science, chemistry, mathematics, economics, biology, agriculture, horticulture, and animation.

For students who desire to work in research-related fields such as pharmaceuticals, healthcare, manufacturing, information technology, and other fields, a bachelor's degree in science is excellent. In addition to the standard Bachelor of Science programme, students have the option of pursuing BSc Hons degrees. The prerequisites for both courses are the same.
Students can continue their education beyond a BSc by pursuing a Master of Science (MSc), Master of Business Administration (MBA), or Doctor of Philosophy (PhD).
