AutoCAD is a very important drafting tool that is widely used across multiple industries. The drafts created using AutoCAD is used by the Manufacturing team to create processes to manufacture the part. Post Manufacturing these drawings are used by the quality team to inspect dimensions and tolerance of the produced part against the drawings to make sure that the sufficient quality is achieved It doesn't stop there. These drawings are used by the Assembly team to check assembly tolerance is up to set standards. CAD is mainly used for detailed engineering of 3D models or 2D drawings of physical components, but it is also used throughout the engineering process from conceptual design and layout of products, through strength and dynamic analysis of assemblies to definition of manufacturing methods of components.
