Structured Query Language (SQL) is a programming language used to manage data in a relational database. SQL can be used to modify, insert and delete multiple records at once, in addition to other functions, and is the standard language used for relational database queries. It should take an average learner about two to three weeks to master the basic concepts of SQL and start working with SQL databases. But in order to start using them effectively in real-world scenarios, you'll need to become quite fluent; and that takes time.As a language, SQL is definitely simpler than Python. The grammar is smaller, the amount of different concepts is smaller. But that doesn't really matter much. As a tool, SQL is more difficult than Python coding, IMO.
