Center of Excellence for Minimal Access Surgery Training

Paediatric Minimal Access Surgery is a diverse set of surgeries and procedures which are difficult to learn in a short time. It is important for Paediatric Surgeons to get hands-on training in minimal access Paediatric Surgery, to understand the principles and fundamentals of these techniques. Four weeks of intensive learning including academic and hands-on training at IMMAST, OT exposure, observation of live surgeries, and interaction with faculty and OT team, will allow ample opportunity for fellows to learn the finer aspects of Paediatric Minimal Access Surgery. It will decrease their learning curve and incidence of complications.
