The exam is used by business schools to determine admission to a variety of graduate management programs, including MBA, Master of Accountancy, Master of Finance, and others. The Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) is a computer adaptive test (CAT) designed to evaluate certain analytical, writing, quantitative, verbal, and reading skills in written English in preparation for admission to a graduate management program, such as an MBA.
