Common Entrance Test (CET Entrance) is conducted by the Directorate of Technical Education and is accepted by over 80 institutes in Maharashtra. Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies (JBIMS) also accepts CET Score.

The final selection of the candidates will be through counseling rounds. Some B-schools like JBIMS conduct their own selection process including Group Discussion/Written Ability Test and Personal Interview. But for other B-Schools, candidates have to follow their counseling rounds as per their ranks.

Common Entrance Test (CET) is conducted by the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) for admission into engineering, medical, and dental colleges across Karnataka. There are four phases in the course. The first three phases will be conducted before the Annual exams of the PU Board and the Fourth phase consisting of mainly Model papers will be conducted after the Annual exams of PU Board and before CET exams.
