NDA/NA is an all India defence entrance exam that is conducted by UPSC twice a year, in April and in September. Candidates who qualify NDA exam get admission to Army, Navy and Air Force wings of NDA & Indian Naval Academy Course -INAC. NDA is one of the most sought-after defence entrance exams in the country. The exam is conducted for admission to Army, Navy and Air Force wings of NDA and Indian Naval Academy Course (INAC). NDA is conducted twice a year in two stages: written exam and SSB Interview. The Combined Defence Services Examination (abbreviated as CDS Exam) is conducted twice a year by the Union Public Service Commission for recruitment into the Indian Military Academy, Officers Training Academy, Indian Naval Academy and Indian Air Force Academy.
