UPSC GS Prelims Course

General Studies papers are only included in the Prelims and Mains phases. The General Studies Paper I and General Studies Paper II are the papers for Prelims. The IAS Mains test includes a more in-depth discussion of General Studies. Out of a total of 9 papers, 4 are classified as general studies, while the essay paper has a hazy connection to general studies because its topics are chosen at random.
