The Human Resource Development (HRD) Ministry proposed a common entrance examination, called the Indian Science Engineering Eligibility Test ( JEE-Main), to replace IIT-JEE and AIEEE from 2013 onwards. The JEE-Main examination pattern for the academic year 2013 is as follows: Main Examination: The JEE-Main Examination will constitute an objective test that will be of 3 hours duration. The Main Examination will have a test for comprehension, critical and logical reasoning.
